When Do Auditions Take Place?

Auditions take place by appointment.  To set up a specific audition time, or to find out more about Camerata, contact the director at [email protected].

The Audition

Auditions consist of vocal warm-ups to determine range, as well as some sight reading. No prepared solo is required. You will be asked to fill out an information sheet about your prior musical experience.

Rehearsal and Concert Schedule

Rehearsals for the 2023-2024 season take place on Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Ridgefield, CT.  Rehearsals take place in a well-ventilated space.  Additional sectional rehearsal take place periodically..

Camerata d’Amici performs three concerts per season. Our remaining concerts for the 2023-2024 season are scheduled for March 3, 2024 and May 19, 2024.

Why Should I Audition?

We sing a wide range of choral music that spans the centuries, old and new, sacred and secular. For more information about the music we perform, visit our Previous Concerts page and click on Learn More for each concert.

We are also a collegial, mutually supportive group of dedicated singers, united by a desire to capture and express the unique capability of music to touch the hearts of our audience.

If you would like to drop in on a rehearsal to listen to our rehearsal process, please feel free to do so. Contact [email protected] to let us know you are coming, or to find out more about our group.
